Push

Went for my first medium-distance in my Vibram’s this morning. I wasn’t very comfortable this morning–I had stomach cramps and I could feel blisters as I was running. But I pushed myself to run for my full predetermined time of 1 hour.

When I took my shoes off, one of my feet was covered in blood. Apparently I both formed and popped a blood blister along the way. But now that’s over, it wasn’t that bad.

I’m glad I was able to push myself through the discomfort. It’s a muscle I feel like I haven’t been using as much since being a student at UBC.
